The National Service Scheme was started by Goverment of india,Ministry of Education and Culture,Govt of india,in collabration with state government in the year 1969 in 37 selected universities.Our university has been participating in the scheme right from its inception.

  • The motto of the National Service Scheme is 'NOT ME BUT YOU'.
  • This reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other person's point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings.
  • The aim of NSS is to demonstrate this motto in day-to-day programmes.

  • NSS Special Camps conducted every year.

  • 7days residential camps in adopted village .
  • Should be organized on various National developmental issues.
  • Activities on awareness programmes, creation of durable assets through Shramadan (donation of labour), production oriented programme, education and recreations etc. to be undertaken.
